Plug sales are hosted every week at Itsbloomingflowers.com on Wednesday at 7PM EST. If a special holiday falls on a Wednesday, the sale is moved to Friday at 7PM EST. It could also change to another day of our choosing. Sales are labeled by Shipping Week which is the week the order will be shipped. See below 2026 shipping weeks and schedule for some upcoming sales.

For the Spring/Summer season, we have sales until June. Then we take a break, and resume for the Fall Season around the end of August through to November.

To order, add the desired items to your cart, and agree to our terms and conditions in order to check out. We invite you to read our terms in advance.

There is NO MINIMUM ORDER.

PRE-ORDER SALES

The customer orders up to 4 weeks in advance before the order will be shipped.

REGULAR SALES

Orders start shipping from the 1st Monday after the sale. Order on Sunday & get your plugs the same week.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Plugs ship 2 Day Express on the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday of the Sale Shipping Week. PEAK SHIPPING SCHEDULE FOR PLUGS - Tuesday to Thursday and Monday the following week.

SHIPPING RATES: 1-3 items $14.50, 4-6 items $17.50, 7-9 $23.50, 10-12 $32, 13 & Up $40.

1 item = 1 quantity of a product. If a product listing is for 20 plugs, that's 1 item. For example, if the customer increases the quantity to 2 (40 plugs total), then that's 2 items. Our 1st shipping box holds up to 3 items.

There is a Handling Fee of $3 for every order.

SPRING/SUMMER SCHEDULE OF SALES 2026

Q: What is a plug? A: A plug is a young starter plant.

Benefits of growing from plugs: Alternative for seeds that are difficult to germinate (is that you Lisianthus?); some plants can only be started from cuttings and tissue culture and only available as plugs; saves time; great for beginner gardeners & flower farmers, great for succession planting; easy way to try new plants.

Plug sizes are based on the amount of cells in the cell flats they are grown in. We primarily sell sizes 384, 288, 200, 144, 72 & 50. Generally, the larger the number, the smaller the plug, so a size 384 plug will be smaller than a 144.

Small Quantities: Since we cater to gardeners and small scale farmers, we sell smaller quantities of plugs. A 384 flat holds 384 plant plugs, and will be too much for someone wanting to plant 20 or 40 plants. We'll sell the 40 plugs from the 384 cell flat making it easier for our customers to try more varieties and colors without the commitment to large numbers. On every product, we note the size of the original cell flat.

Your plugs have been traveling in the dark for a few days and can experience transit shock. Give them time to recover. Unpack immediately; they need air. Water and keep moist, but don't over water. Give them indirect light or set in a partially shaded area since direct light can burn the leaves. If the plugs are in cell trays, within a few days carefully transplant to larger containers for more root space. If they are not in cell trays, pot them up immediately. When growing conditions are right, start hardening off by exposing the plants to outdoor conditions a few hours a day preferable in morning and evening sun. They will adjust in a few days and can be planted in the field.
